Become a Team Manager

Team Managers! The Rapids want you and love you! Your #1 role is the team hub.

Team Managers are vital. They will oversee the operational aspects of the team. The Team Manager coordinates all off-ice tasks and shares pertinent information with players, parents, and coaches. This enables the coaches to focus on player development and on-ice instruction to provide players a rewarding hockey experience.

The Team Manager cannot do it all. Team Managers should draw on the strengths and talents of the parents on the team to assist!

The Team Manager Role

Here is a sampling of what the team manager does:

● Act as a communication vector between coaches and parents

● Confirm emergency contact info for all players on your team

● Confirm and maintain contact lists for all parents and players on your team

● Obtain blank score sheets for your team (enough for all home games)

● Retrieve completed score sheets and file them in your binder

● Be a central point of contact for parents

● Confirm if any players on the team have any special medical issues or needs
