The Bend Rapids Youth Hockey Club, a USA Hockey Affiliate, is a community and volunteer based organization that supports growth and access to competitive ice hockey in Central Oregon. We provide youth with the opportunity to have fun, pursue their athletic potential, and develop life skills in a respectful and safe team environment. Learn more about the Rapids.
As a USA Hockey sanctioned club, we follow the USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM) and the Long Term Athletic Development model.
The Rapids were founded in 2015 when our home ice The Pavilion in Bend was built. The history of ice hockey in Central Oregon goes way back.
