Because of your generosity, we raised $61,299 to support youth hockey in Central Oregon.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. Whether you donated, volunteered, stood in cold rinks during early mornings, or cheered from the stands, you are the reason Bend Rapids Youth Hockey thrives.
Every dollar represents belief in our kids. Your support helps remove barriers by funding scholarships, ice time, equipment, uniforms, and dedicated programming that allows youth in our community to step on the ice with confidence and stay there. This also includes ensuring girls have the opportunity to play, grow, and belong in hockey.
Bend Rapids is about more than hockey. It’s about building a community that raises kids to be fearless, selfless, and inspired to grow on the ice and in life. What makes this club special isn’t just the game; it’s the people who show up for these kids.

$5k Match to Reach $10k
December 15, 2025 - Exciting news! Visit Bend has stepped up as a gold sponsor of the Rapids this season with $5k of support. This inspired an anonymous donor to offer up another $5k in matching donations. That means for every dollar the Rapids raise, this generous donor will match up to $5k. Imagine this…the $5k from Visit Bend, plus if the club can achieve the match, that’s another $10k, for a total of $15k.
Where does this money go?
- Donations directly support the Bend Rapids Youth Hockey Club
- Funds stay local and benefit players and families in Central Oregon
What is it used for?
- Ice time and facility costs
- Coaching, training, and player development
- Equipment and safety gear
- Tournament and league fees
- Need-based player scholarships
Why donate?
- Helps keep youth hockey accessible
- Supports healthy activity, teamwork, and leadership development
- Invests in a positive, community-centered program for local youth
Who does it benefit?
- 5 Rapids athletes received scholarships this season
- Keeping Team Fees stable. For the 2025-26 Season Rapids have not increased Team Fees. We hope to continue this trend for next season.
- Special programs like Power Skate
