Dear Bend Rapids Families,

I hope this letter finds you and your family in great spirits as we wind down from another epic season on the ice.

As the newly appointed Sponsorship Director, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share with you some of my aspirations for our organization.

First and foremost, I am incredibly honored and thrilled to step into this role. I understand the importance of fostering a supportive and thriving environment for our young athletes. My goal as Sponsorship Director is not just to secure funding, but to cultivate meaningful partnerships and opportunities that will benefit every member of our organization.

I want to dispel any notions of my role being solely about seeking financial support. While fundraising is indeed a crucial aspect of what I do, my focus extends far beyond simply asking for donations. I am here to explore creative and strategic avenues for sponsorship, seeking out partnerships that align with our values and objectives. By doing so, my aim is to not only reduce financial burdens for all involved but also to enhance the overall experience for our athletes and families.

Fundraising can often seem like a daunting task, but I firmly believe that together, we can achieve great things. It truly does take a village to bring our ideas to fruition, and I am eager to collaborate with each and every one of you. Whether you're a board member, coach, team manager, or parent, your input and involvement are invaluable.

Here is a sneak peek at some of the events we have planned:

• Monthly Recycle Days: Stay tuned for opportunities to turn recyclables into funds for our organization. Every little bit counts, and together, we can make a significant impact.
• Drawing to Win a Kraken Jersey: Imagine owning s Seattle Kraken jersey signed by the entire team! Keep an eye out for details on how you can participate in this exciting drawing.
• Gear Drive at Play it Again Sports: Have old sports gear lying around? Let’s put it to good use by donating to our gear drive at Play It Again Sports. The funds from our donation will go straight to our organization.

These are just a few of the initiatives we have in store, and I can’t wait to share more details with you in the coming weeks.
