Whatever you need to glide, slash, axel, sweep, or breakaway down a sheet of ice, come out to the Pavilion for our annual gear swap. Hockey, figure skating ⛸️ , curling … All ice sports enthusiasts and your gear is welcome.
Do you want to clean out a closet filled with gear you or your kids no longer use? Then this event is for you!
The Annual Fall Gear Swap
This is event is organized and hosted by Bend Rapids Youth Hockey. We are a member of Bend Ice and we support their mission to grow ice sports and it's culture in Central Oregon. This community wide event is open to everyone.
There will be a blade-sharpening technician on hand giving demos. We'll have a few games for kids. And of course, the always popular FREE pile will certainly be there.
Logistics
Selling? Show up a little early. Preferably 15 minutes before the start with your goods. FYI - clean items sell faster. Find a spot on the rink floor to lay your gear out. Keep adequate spacing from other sellers.
Buying? Show up and load up. :-)
Financial transactions are handled solely between the buyer and seller. This event is intended for private, non-commercial parties. The Rapids do not take any fees and there is no charge to the sellers for floor space.
