Welcome potential coaches,
My name is Michel Waller and I am the Coaching Director for the Bend Rapids youth hockey organization. On behalf of the Rapids, thank you for your interest in coaching our kids. We are busy planning for the 2023/2024 season and are excited for the many opportunities our athletes will have to compete, develop their skills, and have fun with friends.
This is where you come in. Do you love hockey? Do you want to help us grow this great sport in Central Oregon while making a difference in the lives of young people in the community? If you answered “yes”, then you are in the right place. Experienced or not, with the help of USA Hockey, we will get you into the right situation to insure personal and team success. Positions include Head and Assistant Coaches as well as Practice Coaches on teams ranging from 8U to 18U. AA options will be available. Join us and share your knowledge and passion.
