Tell us a bit about your background?

I Recently moved to Bend from Boston, Massachusetts. Professionally I work as a Strength and Nutrition Coach online as well as in Sisters, Or. Hobbies include skiing, fishing, biking, hiking.

What's your hockey playing experience?

I grew up playing AAA Tier I Hockey from Squirts into Midgets. Some of the USA hockey sanctioned teams I played on are the Eastern Mass Senators, Islanders Hockey Club, and Top Gun Hockey Club. I also participated in the USA Hockey National Festival Camps. Played high school hockey at St. John’s Prep and collegiately at Endicott College.

How about coaching experience?

Back in New England I coached private skating, stickhandling, and shooting lessons. Also would help work at AAA Tier I Summer Camps (Assistant Coach) and AAA Tier I Tryouts (Assistant Coach)

What are your goals for the program?

My hope is to help shape the culture of the Rapids Organization into a fun, competitive, learning, and professional environment. Some of the major components of the game that I wish to bring more attention to in the coming years are adhering to the USA Hockey Athletic Development Model (ADM), teaching kids how to play as a “team”, and developing a stronger hockey IQ.
